NARVA Shines With ‘Navigata’ Marine L.E.D Light Bar

Safety at sea during the hours of darkness has taken a step forward with the introduction of NARVA’s fully submersible Marine L.E.D Light Bar range designed specifically for watercraft. 

The new ‘Navigata’ series light bars now on sale in New Zealand are a marine-specific variant of NARVA’s ‘Explora’ light bar range, which have proven popular in the four-wheel-drive and passenger vehicle market.

Sharing technology and design cues with Explora light bars, the all-white Navigata range utilises high-powered 5W L.E.Ds in conjunction with NARVA’s Optic Drive™ technology, which captures and focuses more of the light generated to produce an extra penetrating light output, eliminating waste and resulting in a 30% brighter output compared to conventional light bars of the same length and power.

“As any boatie knows, it is very difficult to see anything when you are out on the water in pitch black conditions and good lighting can be a life-saver, especially around boat ramps when heading out first thing in the morning for example” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager for Griffiths Equipment, which distributes NARVA automotive and marine lighting products throughout New Zealand.

The superior construction of the new NARVA Navigata is designed specifically for use in marine environments. It uses a one-piece die-cast white aluminium housing that is designed without end caps to provide optimum sealing (IP68 & IP69K) and heat dissipation. 

Virtually unbreakable hard-coated polycarbonate lenses, stainless steel mounting brackets and hardware ensure Navigata light bars are safe and secure for any conditions. 

Prewired weatherproof DT connectors make installation a breeze and 9-32V input means these light bars are suitable for a multitude of vessels.

There are four sizes of lightbar in the NARVA Navigata range: a 7” bar with 6 x 5W L.E.Ds outputting 3000 lumens (Part No. 72271W); a 14” bar with 12 x 5W L.E.Ds outputting 6000 lumens (Part No. 72272W); a 22” bar with 18 x 5W L.E.Ds producing a huge 9000 lumens (Part No. 72274W); and a double row 22” bar with 36 x 5W L.E.Ds that shines an enormous 18000 lumens (Part No. 72282W).
