NARVA Introduces Hardy Handheld L.E.D Spotlight

High quality and reliable lighting is essential for anyone involved in security and emergency work, as well as being very important for recreational pursuits such as fishing, camping, boating, hunting and even farming.

NARVA’s hardy new ‘Colt 1000’ L.E.D Handheld Spotlights, just introduced to the New Zealand market, shed a lot more light on the subject.

Available in two model options – one corded and the second boasting a rechargeable battery – these new lights are the modern successor to NARVA’s popular ‘Colt 100’ handheld halogen spotlight.

“Thanks to L.E.D technology, the new Colt 1000 is a more robust and reliable night-time light for professional and recreational users, and they’ll perform in a variety of outdoor conditions,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager for Griffiths Equipment, which distributes NARVA lighting products in New Zealand.

The corded Colt (part no.71001) boasts a beam pattern range of up to 285 metres at 1 Lux and 4000 Lumens, while the rechargeable variant (part no. 71000) provides a still impressive beam pattern range of up to 244 metres at 1 Lux and 2500 Lumens.

The light output for both models comes courtesy of its six high-powered, 3W L.E.Ds, which deliver 5700°K of crisp white light.

As well as providing a superior light output, the new Colt 1000 duo are compact, portable, easy to handle and comfortable in the hand thanks to the ergonomic handle design. They also have a fold-away hook for storage.

The lights have been designed and tested to withstand the wide range of demanding New Zealand environments where they are expected to be used, featuring heavy-duty casings that make them fully sealed and waterproof to IP66 standards to ensure ongoing performance.

The rechargeable spotlight features a 7.4V lithium battery that delivers up to 2.5 hours of constant usage time, while recharging from flat takes only 1.5 hours using the 240V charger included. For users who plan to stay off the grid for longer periods, additional spare batteries (part no. 71007) are available at extra cost and are easily interchanged.

With the corded Colt, a 12/24V accessory plug is included so that is can be conveniently used across a wide array of vehicles.

NARVA’s new high-powered ‘Colt 1000’ L.E.D Handheld Spotlights are available from leading automotive outlets throughout New Zealand.
