NARVA Lights Up Workshops With New Flood Lights

Even the darkest corners of the workshop can’t hide from the light anymore, thanks to the expanded Advanced Lighting Systems (ALS) from NARVA.

The automotive lighting and electrical specialist has introduced new models to broaden its range of 240V corded and rechargeable L.E.D flood lights in New Zealand.

All lights feature high efficiency COB L.E.D’s, which deliver a broad, uniform flood beam pattern to seamlessly illuminate workshops, commercial and residential worksites, or even outdoor camping or work spaces, with clean white light.

The rechargeable models begin with the 71410, which has a light output of up to 2,000 lumen. Depending on user requirements, this output can be graduated between 400 lumen upwards via the dimming function, providing the user with an operating time of between 2.5 to 15 hours.

Similar in dimensions and output, the 71412 model produces between 300 and 1,500 lumen, depending on the dimmer setting, and features a UV light source of 365nm that provides the user with the added function of being able to identify air conditioning/refrigeration gas leaks through its ultraviolet technology. This lamp also has an operating time of between 2.5 to 15 hours depending on the output setting.

Both lamps benefit from a powerful magnet contained within their 180° mounting bracket, so they can be attached to metal surfaces for hands-free convenience or placed on the ground at the desired angle.

At the top end of the new rechargeable flood light range is the 71416 model with its hefty 6,000 lumen output. A dimming function again enables the light output to be adjusted from 1,200 lumen to the 6,000 lumen maximum, providing 1 to 6 hours’ use depending on the setting.

This model also enjoys Bluetooth® functionality, which allows the light’s brightness to be adjusted remotely (from up to 20 metres) via a free NARVA app. A 5-metre cable is included so that the lamp can be charged while still in operation.

Recharging time for all three lamps is between 3 to 4 hours, while a visual battery life indicator across the range helps accurately track the remaining charge, ensuring the user isn’t inconveniently left without light.

All the new NARVA ALS Rechargeable L.E.D Inspection Lamps are covered by a 2-year warranty

Meanwhile, the ALS corded Flood Lights are available with maximum outputs of 6,000 lumen (71418 model) and a powerful 10,000 lumen (71420 model). Like the rechargeable models, users of the corded products can vary the light output (from 1,200 to 6,000 lumen for the 71418, or between 2,000 and 10,000 lumen for the 71420).

An added benefit is the ability to use them as a power bank to charge mobile phones, tablets and other similar devices.

Other features across the rechargeable and corded light range include remote Bluetooth® light adjustment, heavy-duty construction that is fully sealed and water and dust resistant to IP67, plus a ‘glow in the dark’ locator that makes the lights easier to find in the dark when switched off.

For buyers wanting to cast light at height over a broader area, all of these lamps can be fitted to NARVA’s optional heavy-duty portable tripod stands.

There are two stands available, the 71471 model, which features lockable wheels and is height adjustable from 75 to 180cm or the taller 71470 stand, which features height adjustment of between 135 and 300cm.

“These new ALS lights benefit from NARVA’s latest technology developments to provide a superior light for longer,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager of Griffiths Equipment Limited, which distributes NARVA products in New Zealand.

The new NARVA ALS rechargeable and corded range of floodlights are now available from leading automotive outlets throughout New Zealand.
